Relevant section: Connect to the internet
The Kisi Controller Pro 1 can connect to a network via ethernet and wifi (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz) networks. Whichever network you connect to first will act as the primary connection. If the primary connection fails, the secondary connection (if available) will take effect.
Connect via Ethernet
To connect Kisi Controller Pro 1 via Ethernet, simply plug in an RJ45 ethernet cable into the proper port on the Kisi Controller Pro 1. The other end of the cable must be connected to an Ethernet-enabled port such as a wall jack, router, or switch.
To do a blink-up with Ethernet,
- Open up your Kisi app.
- Click on the cogwheel in the top right corner.
- Choose Connect Kisi Devices.
- Press OK and then Set up Ethernet Only and follow the steps.
You can confirm the connection is working when you see a green LED light on the Kisi Controller Pro’s ethernet port. When the light goes green, you are connected to your network.
If the LED light still remains red/amber, refer to this article for required network settings.
Connect via Wifi
If there is no option of connecting the controller via Ethernet, you can do a blink-up to connect the controller via wifi.
