Relevant section: Primary device restrictions
This article relates to the access restrictions feature. For an overview of all restrictions, check out the article Levels of restrictions and redundancies.
If you changed phones and need to reset your primary device, check Changing Phones.
The Primary Device Restriction allows you to perform unlocks on doors from only one device. This is a security feature ensuring that all unlocks from a user can be traced back to only one phone. To achieve this, we store a token on each device which we use to differentiate the devices used.
For example, if you initially performed an unlock using an iPhone, you will not be able to also unlock from your Galaxy phone.
Enable Primary Device Restriction
As an admin, you can enable this restriction:
- Sign in to Kisi

- Click Save
