On the final steps of setting up the Rhombus integration with Kisi, some administrators run into an issue where the Rhombus Camera selection has nothing but a blank drop-down box. Usually this drop-down box contains all of your available Rhombus cameras to select and associate to a door within Kisi, but this issue, shown below, does occur sometimes.
This issue may seem confusing when first encountered, but thankfully there is a fast and easy solution. The cause of this issue is when the API key used to create the integration does not have a privileged role. You can follow the steps below to get this fixed swiftly:
- Navigate to your Rhombus Dashboard API Management section
- Click on "Edit" on the right side of your API key
- Set "Role" to "Super Admin Group"
- Click Update
Now that your API key has a privileged role, you will be able to import your Rhombus Cameras successfully.
