Bluetooth Signal Strength
Bluetooth signal strength can vary by location and device manufacturer, so It may be necessary to adjust the Bluetooth Sensitivity of your Kisi Reader for the best user experience.
Bear in mind, that increasing the unlock range is always a trade-off between convenience and security.

You can test the range at which the Bluetooth signal is strong enough to authorize an unlock by viewing the related door in your Kisi App with the Kisi Reader Restriction enabled. See the screenshot below where it says a door is Nearby. This is indicating that the reader and phone are close enough together to authorize an unlock, either through the Kisi App with Reader Restriction enabled, or through a Motionsense "wave". Try testing different ranges in the space, and different sensitivity settings, to find the setting that works best for your space and your use case.

Additionally, please ensure your Battery usage settings in Android are set to Unrestricted for the Kisi App. This is particularly important if you use a Samsung device.
