Enroll NFC Cards at the Kisi Reader

Assigning third-party NFC cards can be done at a Kisi Reader or on the Kisi Android app. This article focuses on using the enrollment at the Kisi Reader method.

Ensure you have enabled Enrollment Mode on each reader you want to enroll at. Whilst Enrollment Mode is enabled, users cannot access the reader. If you do not see the option Enrollment Mode, please contact Kisi Support to have it enabled.

To enable Enrollment Mode on each reader:

1. Sign in to your Kisi Organization
2. Open your Place
3. Navigate to Hardware and choose the desired reader
4. Toggle On Enrollment Mode
   
   
5. Click Save

To enroll cards at the Reader:

1. Sign in to your Kisi Organization
2. From the Organization Dashboard, click on Credentials 
   
   
3. Click on Add Credential and select At Reader (on the top)
   
   
4. Select the reader which was used to scan the credential from the list
   
   
5. After selecting the reader, tap your credential on the Kisi Reader
   
   
6. Once a credential is found, enter the email of the user you want to assign the credential to 
   
   
7. Click Assign
