Place analytics

You can review place analytics and user activity information both in the web and mobile apps.

Place analytics are displayed through customizable widgets on your place dashboard. You can add and arrange different analytics widgets to track facility usage, occupancy, and user activity.

Configure your place dashboard

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. Navigate to Place Dashboard
  3. Select the place from the dropdown in the top left corner
  4. Scroll down and click Customize
  5. Drag widgets from the left column to the right column to add them to your dashboard
  6. Arrange the widgets in your preferred order
  7. Click Save
  8. Choose to save the configuration for this specific place, some specific spaces, or all places in the organization

Available analytics widgets

The following analytics widgets are available to add to your place dashboard:

  • Status Overview: Displays general hardware status information about your place
  • Unique Users: Shows the number of unique users accessing your facility
  • Place Activity Heatmap: Provides a visual representation of unlock events by hour and day of the week to identify peak usage times
  • Unlock History: Lists recent unlock events and user activity
  • Capacity Management: Shows current occupancy rate and capacity information

Configure capacity management

To set up or change your place capacity:

  1. Click the settings icon (gear icon) in the left sidebar
  2. Navigate to Places
  3. Select the place you want to configure
  4. Scroll down to Capacity Limit
  5. Enter the maximum capacity for your place
  6. Click Save

Filter place activity heatmap by door

  1. Scroll down to locate the Heatmap card
  2. Open the Search door dropdown and select a door
  3. Use the Previous week and Next week links to see the number of unlocks for different weeks
  4. Click on the slots to be redirected to the events that happened in that time slot
