Integrate Kisi with Lumana

Integrating Lumana's AI-powered video security with Kisi gives security teams unified visibility over access events and camera footage. The integration automatically indexes video footage tied to Kisi access events, enables tailgating detection, and allows door control directly from the Lumana VMS+.

Prerequisites

• Lumana account
• Kisi organization administrator rights

Generate a Kisi API key

You need to have organization administrator or organization owner rights to create an API key. We recommend creating API keys from the organization owner's account, to avoid the API key becoming invalid when an organization admin loses their admin rights.

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. On the top right corner, click on your name and click on My Account
3. Next, select the API tab and click on Add API Key
4. Enter the name for the API key and your Kisi password and click Add
5. Copy the API key shown on the screen and click Close

Set up the integration

1. Sign in to Lumana and navigate to your organization settings
2. Find Kisi in the integrations menu and click Install
3. Enter the Kisi API key and click Install to establish the connection

Assign doors to cameras

1. In the integration management portal, select Assign doors to cameras
2. Choose your facility location from the dropdown
3. Select the door you want to configure and assign a camera to monitor it
4. Repeat for each door requiring video coverage
