Integrate Kisi with Spot AI

As a Kisi admin, you can integrate Kisi with Spot AI to monitor activities related to your Kisi doors. For example, you can view video footage in Spot AI whenever someone unlocks your doors.

This is a Kisi-built integration, maintained and supported by Kisi.

Prerequisites

• Kisi Organization Administrator access rights
• Spot AI Super Admin rights
• Owner authorizations for the API Key on the Spot AI dashboard
• At least one camera set up in the location

Create the Spot AI API key

1. Sign in to your Spot AI account
2. Navigate to Configure > API
3. Click on Create New Key
4. Enter a name, e.g "Kisi API Key"
5. Choose your desired expiration date
6. Click Generate Key
7. Click on Copy Key and Close
8. Save the API Key

Set up the integration in Kisi​

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. Click the integrations icon (3x3 grid of dots) > Add Integration
3. Provide a name for your integration, e.g. "Spot AI"
4. Open the Type dropdown and select Spot AI
5. Click on Add
6. Under configuration, enter the API Key value you obtained before
7. Click Save. Next, Add the doors you want to configure with your spot AI camera:
8. Click on Add Door
9. Select place
10. Select door
11. Select the Spot AI camera. Note: You can configure up to four cameras for a single door.
12. Click Save
13. Click Return

Kisi does not automatically remove any events from Spot AI once the integration is created. To clean up the data or remove the integration, you must manually delete it in Spot AI.
