Sandbox account
A sandbox account is a real, free Kisi account provisioned by the Kisi team for development and testing purposes only. Real door access control is not permitted on sandbox accounts. To request one, fill out the partner form.
What you can do with a sandbox account
- Make API calls to create users, grant access, and trigger unlocks
- Test webhook events and integration flows end-to-end
- Test with real Kisi hardware from your developer kit
- Generate and manage API keys
What the sandbox account does not include
- Real door access control — this requires a paid Kisi license
