Request SDK access
The Kisi Mobile SDK lets you embed access control directly into your own app. Before you can integrate it, you need to apply for a partner ID.
Do you need the SDK?
You need the SDK if your app needs to support:
- Tap to Unlock - users hold their phone up to a Kisi Reader to unlock
- MotionSense - users wave their hand in front of a Kisi Reader to unlock
- Reader restrictions - proximity-based access that requires detecting a nearby reader
Tap in-app (button-based unlocks via the cloud) does not require the SDK.
Application process
- Fill out the application form with information about your company and app
- Email sdk@kisi.io to apply for a partner ID
- Sign and return the NDA that Kisi will send you
- Receive your partner ID and testing protocol
What you need to start developing
Once you have your partner ID, you will need:
- Hardware - depending on what you are building, you may need a Kisi Controller, a Kisi Reader, or both. See hardware requirements.
