Integrate BooGYMan with Kisi

The integration of BooGYMan and Kisi allows for automatic synchronization, ensuring BooGYMan users have a corresponding Kisi profile for easy access to Kisi-controlled doors.

Prerequisites​

  • A Kisi account with organization administrator rights
  • An active BooGYMan instance

Generate a Kisi API key​

You need to have organization administrator or organization owner rights to create an API key. We recommend creating API keys from the organization owner's account, to avoid the API key becoming invalid when an organization admin loses their admin rights.

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. On the top right corner, click on your name and click on My Account
  3. Next, select the API tab and click on Add API key
  4. Enter your name, your Kisi password, and your verification code and click Add
  5. Copy the API key shown on the screen and click Close

Connect Kisi with BooGYMan​

To set up the BooGYMan connection to Kisi, please submit a support ticket to the BooGYMan team via email at contact@glitch.ro. Include the following details:

  • Your BooGYMan instance URL
  • A Kisi API key for an account with organization administrator, organization access manager or place administrator rights (the one created in the previous step)
  • Your Kisi organization ID
  • Kisi place ID(s)
  • Kisi lock ID(s) for each club and studio (if applicable) managed by BooGYMan

After setup completion, BooGYMan will automatically synchronize all your data with Kisi, enabling Kisi-specific controls within its user interface.

The BooGYMan team will help you locate the necessary IDs needed for the integration.

Additional information​

  • Each subscription in BooGYMan corresponds to a Kisi group, so please refrain from altering these groups within Kisi. BooGYMan will only remove its managed groups, allowing you to create additional groups for your needs, like administration or cleaning staff, without interference.
  • Existing Kisi users will automatically synchronize with BooGYMan, ensuring they can still use their accounts to unlock doors. BooGYMan synchronizes all users and subscriptions until they are deleted, meaning even former members remain in Kisi for potential future use. Rest assured, users without active subscriptions won't have door access.
